Thank you for all your comments on my last post.
And no, the horrible restaurant night hasn't put me off veganism, the blogging hiatus was a result of... the holidays, and by that I mean me travelling 1,000 km south, then up again, and then two days later traveling 1,000 km north again.
I had a great time both in London an Munich, but barely cooked anything.
I'm ready to cook and blog again starting today, but I'm actually thinking about getting away from the food focus the blog has. There's so many pieces of art, literature and other stuff I want to share, but I don't feel like starting a new blog.
Anyway, I wanted to blog about Munich and then realised I haven't seen much of the city. I spent three days with Eva sleeping, eating, watching DVD and talking all night until mid-morning, just like when we were in school/uni.
Just once we ventured out, to Kopfeck , a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and pub, and had a huge Grillteller with the best salad of my life and ginormous heaps of fake meat. Sadly, the place was badly lit so I couldn't take any recognizable pictures :(
So instead, as always, lolcat!

Happy New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Wishing you the best.
oooh look, a little cat
Hi. I read your ordeal at the restaurant and had a similar thing happen at Dunkin Donuts. Although I am a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian, so I requested the new egg white flatbread while my hubby wanted the turkey sausage one. The girl, when asked, responded with "Yes I clearly labelled them: VEGGIE & TURKEY". And she did but switched them! I honestly felt sick to my stomach and was SO mad! Her response when told what happened. "oh".
I hate feeling like I have to dissect my food now because of the ignorance and lack of focus from some people.
Take care in 2009!
happy new year - that is a cute pic.
