Past two weeks' bentos

Nothing special today, but I'm sitting around with 5 days off work in front of me, waiting for fresh money - come on bank, it's payday!

So here's some of the bento I recently made.

# 1 is pasta with thai basil-pesto and the chickpea romesco from V-con. I love the romesco so much; it's got a lot of my favourite foods such as almonds, tomatoes and chickpeas.

# 2 holds a slice of raspberry nougat cake, a clementine and some almonds as well as edamame, homemade gyoza and a slice cherry tomato.

# 3 is a plain veggie sushi bento with some mango pudding, mine lemon-poppyseed muffins and a coconut rice cracker.

# 4 last but not least, leftover Thai tofu curry with rice and ginger sauce plus a container of hummus, one with chocoreale and tomato slices because it was a collegues' birthday on Monday and she brought bread rolls for everyone.
She insisted on paying for my (homemade!) hummus because she pities me as I can never have any of the treats customers bring all the time.

[how do you arrange pictures properly on blogger? Whenever I use more than two pictures in one post, they end up all mixed]

your bentos looks always nice! I hope I someday can also get some nice, pretty lunch-bento box, which I will fullfilled with some great, nutritious goodies like in your bentos seems to be.
That japanese bento is my favourite. I love japanese foods but usually I have some lack of imagination to try made them in home. I`m little bored to make sushi-so common!, but I`m planned to make some dumplings next week. I`m intressed which way you have prepared those dumplings inside one of those bentos? I want to try those steamed, gyoza-style dumplings, I got some wonton-wrappers in Asian market for couple of weeks ago(freezed ones). I`m intressed which way I sould stuff and prepare them? I have planne to serve dumplings with some nice dipping sauce for my omnivorous friend, who is into japanese food. He like tofu, but not seitan etc. mock meats...
Do you have some recipes or other suggestions for help me to make some good, tasty VEGAN dinner?
It`s also great thing if those suggestions not include many hard-to-find,expensive ingredients, but I think I can got some Asian greens, mushrooms, spices etc. in that Asian market nearby.

Thanks!

@amy: Email her, dann kriegst du was :)

@seitan wörshipper: I sort of grew up with Japanese cooking and a book that is really authentic is http://www.amazon.de/Japanese-Cooking-Contemporary-Traditional-Delicious/dp/1570670722/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1201435518&sr=8-1

That's where the gyoza recipe came from, so I'd rather not post it here. But I'd love to email it to you!
